Josh Condon is a dynamic conductor, pianist, and music director whose versatility spans jazz, pop, classical, and musical theatre. He has led more than 50 productions and conducted everything from symphony orchestras and choirs to jazz ensembles and pop-rock bands. Internationally, he toured as music director and pianist with Norwegian, Celebrity, and Princess Cruise Lines, collaborating with Broadway and West End stars on stages around the world.

In Arizona, Josh is Resident Artist and Director of Community Music Programs at Arizona Musicfest, where he serves as Assistant Conductor of the Festival Orchestra and Chorus Director of the Festival Chorus. He also conducts mainstage concerts with nationally recognized artists and curates and performs in Musicfest’s acclaimed intimate concert series, spotlighting Phoenix’s top musicians. As Director of Community Programs, he is a sought-after lecturer known for bringing music history and analysis to life, from the symphonic canon and jazz improvisation to the Great American Songbook and musical theatre.

Josh’s previous posts include Resident Music Director at Arizona Broadway Theatre and Assistant Conductor for both the Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestra and North Valley Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared as guest conductor with the Scottsdale Philharmonic, Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra, and Arizona Musical Theatre Orchestra, and will make his debut with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra in December 2025.

Celebrated for his collaborative spirit, stylistic range, and engaging presence, Josh holds a BM in Jazz Studies from Ithaca College and an MM in Musical Theatre/Opera Music Direction from Arizona State University. He makes his home in Phoenix with his wife Lexy, their son Arlo, and their cat Sadie.
